Today I’m talking about my favorite spot in the Mexican pavilion in Epcot: La Hacienda de San Angel! Most people immediately think of San Angel Inn when they think of the Mexican pavilion (that’s the one next to the Three Caballeros attraction), but I think La Hacienda has better food.
Basic info: La Hacienda is a table-service restaurant located in the Mexico pavilion at Epcot. It is listed on the website as being $15-$35 per person. Dining plan credits are available here but AP and cast discounts are not.
Here I went with two appetizers instead of one entree based on the lack of true vegetarian entrees. My favorite was the Crema de Elote, a spicy and delicious corn chowder with tortilla strips. I also had the Ensalada de la Hacienda, which is your basic spinach salad with queso fresco, tomatoes, pomegranate seeds, pine nuts, avocado, and mustard vinaigrette. It was good, too, but it felt like something I could’ve just as easily gotten at Panera Bread or even made myself. That said, I probably could’ve had a double serving of the soup and called it a meal.
This is a short one today guys, but I recently ate at Satu’li Canteen in Pandora so expect an article on that one soon!

Today I’m here to talk about my very favorite Disney restaurant: Garden Grill!
Basic info: Garden Grill is located on the second floor of the Land pavilion in Epcot (right above Soarin’). It costs $45 flat rate per person and is all you care to eat. Cast members get 40% off, annual passholders get 20%, and table-service dining plan credits are accepted. This is a character dining experience where you get to meet Chip, Dale, Mickey, and Pluto. The restaurant also rotates through the Living With the Land attraction.
Pictured above is the vegetarian offering here: veggie loaf, the best mashed potatoes I’ve ever tasted, the only sweet potato fries I like, rice and green beans, and mac’n’cheese topped with Goldfish crackers. You will need to inform your seater and your server that you want the vegetarian offering, and it’s SO GOOD. I had thirds. They also serve you fresh salad and bread and butter.
This strawberry shortcake is the dessert, and it’s just as good. It’s one of those things you just don’t have room for until you look at it. You get free refills, so to speak, on this as well.
Well that’s all for tonight! I don’t have much to say about Garden Grill except that it’s completely amazing. I would definitely recommend splurging on a meal here.
