Last time I was at Disney I went to one of my favorite restaurants: Trail’s End! This is an all-you-care-to-eat buffet that’s open all day long, but I prefer going for breakfast.
Basic info: Trail’s End is a table-service restaurant located at the Campsites at Fort Wilderness. It runs about $35 flat rate per adult not including alcoholic beverages, but annual passholders get a 20% discount and cast members get 40%. It is eligible for TSR dining plan credits.
There are two hallmarks of a Trail’s End breakfast, and both are vegetarian. The first is jungle juice, which is the same thing as what ‘Ohana calls Stitch juice. It’s basically a tropical fruit juice and it is SO good oh my gosh. The other is the French toast bread pudding, pictured above in a little bowl.
Trail’s End does feature your standard breakfast foods (oatmeal, eggs, tater tots, cold cereal, pastries, etc) but they also offer classic Mickey waffles, a huge variety of fresh fruits, and vegetable frittata. It’s impossible not to find something you like here.
This is one of my absolute favorite places to go eat on property; I even had my birthday dinner here! (They don’t sing but they do call attention to you, and you get complimentary strawberry shortcake.) I’d highly recommend trying it on your next trip to Disney.
